Product Description |
| DX Antenna's DSA-20MA DIRECTV multisatellite dish antenna is designed for use with up to 4 independently operating DIRECTV Receivers, providing not only reception for local stations but for DIRECTV's PARA TODOS Spanish-language programming and even high-definition broadcasts. A suitable antenna site requires an unobstructed view of the southern sky, a stable antenna mounting surface, a distance of 100 feet or less for RG 6 (RF coaxial) cable from your antenna to your receiver, and nearby grounding. The dish comes with a detailed user's manual and installation guide including important safety precautions. Due to the many configurations possible, mast-mounting hardware is not included. For installations where the RG 6 cable runs from the receiver(s) to the LNB exceeds 100 feet (say, 150 feet or more, as encountered in a commercial or multi-dwelling building), you'll need to use an AC power-booster module to bias the LNB. You will also need an additional RF signal amplifier to compensate the signal loss to avoid frequent outages in adverse weather. Please contact a professional installer in these cases. What's in the Box Satellite dish reflector, mounting hardware (4 bolts and 4 screws), LNB arm/antenna back assembly, triple-head, multi-satellite LNB mounting hardware, LNB mounting hardware (2 bolts and screws), a grounding screw, an EZALIGN mast, and a user's/installation manual. Note: Tools required for installation consist of: a 7/16 nut screwdriver, an adjustable wrench, a Phillips-head screwdriver, a magnetic compass, and an electric drill (with bit). Optional accessories include: mast-base mounting hardware, RG 6 coaxial cables with F-type connectors, grounding hardware (wire, wire clips, etc.), and a 6-inch plumbing level. |

Worked great, easy upgrade

Bought to replace an aging 18" round dual LNB antenna which had been in service since early 1999, plastic around LNB was cracked and some of plastic was missing. Didn't need the arm that came with this new dish, used old arm which was already mounted on my chimney, but with the level bubble in the new arm looks like it would have been easy to install however.
Was a very easy swap out and easy to setup antenna used a compass and my wife stayed inside telling me the signal strength from directv box via our cell phones.
Including time to take out, setup & put away ladder total time was less than an hour.
I don't have DirecTV HD yet, not enough content for the extra cost of monthly service and a new HD DTV box. But I will be ready when I do want it. I may add the Over Air antenna that mounts around this dish to get local channels in HD however, cheaper than what DTV charges and has almost as much content as DTV for what I want. |

| This is the same dish that Direct tv installs and it works great. Easy to put together and aim. I get a great signal from it. Amazon had the best price. |

| Delivery of the DirecTV Multisatellite Dish was better than expected. Being that other online stores, even the big electronics stores didn't carry the item, or had none in stock was even more surprising. I even recieved the dish earlier than my predicted delivery date. The price was very competitive as well. |

| I have installed several of these dishes over the years and this one has been the easiest to install yet. The built-in bubble level makes it much easier to get it mounted correctly. |
Very Easy Installation and Aiming

| The dish has a built in level and adjusting bolts which allow you to adjust the arm which holds the dish to a precisely vertical orientation. This allows for very easy satellite acquisition. I would definitely purchase again. |
